School Church Services at St. John’s Church
The pupils from St. John’s School regularly attend services at St. John’s Church for special acts of worship throughout the year. Pupils are involved in the preparation and offering of worship, this particularly includes writing prayers in advance of the service, which the pupils write themselves on a particular theme.
Pupils also take a role in our Bible readings; the passage may be read by the pupil or retold by a group of them as drama. We always take the time to practise prior to the service taking place and this includes the choir also rehearsing before the service takes place.

We also have a full program of services throughout the week details of which can be found on the parish website on
The parish also sponsors ‘The Twelfth Enfield, St John’s and St Luke’s’ Scouts, Cubs and Beavers. They are based at the scout hut in Stratton Avenue and meet in St Luke’s Hall on Friday evenings. They parade at St Luke’s church on the first Sunday of the month in term time.
