Pupils enjoyed a brilliant afternoon of competitive table tennis as we visited St Aunyn’s for a friendly fixture featuring our newest and fastest‑growing sporting craze.
The atmosphere was full of excitement and energy as both schools showcased a very high standard of play, with rallies that impressed players and spectators alike. The children are eager to learn new tricks, especially spins, to catch their opponent off guard!
They played with focus, determination and excellent sportsmanship throughout, adapting quickly and showing real skill at the tables. It was wonderful to see how much confidence and enthusiasm they brought to the matches, reflecting the growing popularity of table tennis within our school.
A huge thank-you goes to the parents who kindly provided transport for the event—your support is always greatly appreciated and plays a vital role in making opportunities like this possible.
We are also delighted to share that we have an additional table tennis table, giving even more pupils the chance to get involved. To top it off, our players are proudly sporting a smart new table tennis kit, adding to the excitement around this increasingly popular break‑time activity.
With so much enthusiasm and talent on display, table tennis is quickly becoming a firm favourite in our school, and we’re looking forward to many more matches and enjoyable competitions in the future.
