We know that parents and carers know their children best, and we value your insight and partnership in supporting every child’s learning journey.
If you have any concerns that your child may be experiencing a barrier to learning or may have a special educational need, please speak to your child’s class teacher in the first instance. They will listen carefully, share observations about your child’s progress and strengths, and discuss any emerging difficulties within the classroom.
Class teachers work closely with the SENDCo to explore appropriate next steps, which may include additional strategies, short-term support, or closer monitoring to understand your child’s needs more fully.
At each Parents’ Evening, we also offer SEND appointments for families who would like to discuss their child’s needs in greater detail. However, you do not need to wait for a scheduled meeting as we are always happy to arrange a time to talk and will do our best to accommodate you as soon as possible. If you would like to arrange a meeting with the SENDCo, please contact the school office to make an appointment.
By working together openly and early, we can ensure that every child receives the right support to shine and achieve their very best.
