Our Breakfast Club is run by St John’s staff, so children are always surrounded by familiar adults who know them well. This helps ensure that the ethos of Breakfast Club matches the calm, caring atmosphere of our school day.

Breakfast Club provides children with a positive and settled start to the morning. A healthy breakfast is served up until 8:15am, and children can then enjoy a range of quiet activities. Weather permitting, pupils go outside at 8:30am to play in the top playground before lining up for the start of the school day at 8:40am.

Session Times and Cost

• Time: 8:00 – 8:40am

• Cost: £4.00 per session (includes breakfast)

Booking and Attendance

• All children must be pre-booked into Breakfast Club.

• In an emergency, please leave a message with the school office and your child will be added to the register.

• Only in exceptional circumstances will a child be admitted without prior booking.

Important Information

• Breakfast Club is currently available to children from Reception to Year 6.

• Children cannot be admitted before 8:00am. If you arrive early, please wait outside the gate with your child. This area is not supervised before 8:00am and children must never be left alone.

• Children must always be accompanied by an adult on arrival and handed over to staff. They must not be dropped off to walk in on their own.
