This week in Sapphire Class, we brought our RE learning to life through drama. The children took part in an exciting acting activity where they explored the 10 Commandments by performing short scenes and freeze-frames to show what each commandment might look like in real life.
The class showed an impressive understanding of the idea that the commandments are God’s rules—guidance that helps us stay connected with God, with ourselves, and with the people around us. Through drama, we thought about how we look up (our relationship with God), look down (our choices and self-responsibility), and look all around (how we treat others in our community).
The children were fully engaged throughout, showing creativity, empathy and thoughtful discussion. It was wonderful to see them express such big ideas through movement, expression and role-play.
Well done, Sapphire!
