Maths workshops November 2022

What a fantastic turn out we have had for our maths workshops, it was so great having so many parents in to see how we teach maths at St. John's.

In Ruby class, parents could see a range of activities that can take place in the home. From board games, to measuring scales and even counting out animals in the bath!

In Sapphire, Mrs. Creed and Mrs. Sutton had a carousel of activities set up which were designed to explain the operations covered in KS1 and the methods that could be used to answer them.

In Diamond and Emerald, Mr. Law discussed the different operations covered and our whole school calculation policy.

Thank you to all those who attended!
