Inspired by our recent assembly, the School Councillors met with Barbara and Geoff (the founders of the Bridge of Hope charity) to discuss our aspiration to raise £1200 to send Miss. Bates to complete volunteer work in Uganda next January. Yomi had made an absolutely fantastic poster to celebrate everything that he had learnt about the charity and they all spoke passionately about it with them. We also found out the positive news that one parent had decided to sponsor a child after learning about the charity during the assembly - this was lovely to hear and inspirational for the wider community too!
