Ruby Class have been having a fantastic time taking part in Pen Disco, an activity that brings Nursery and Reception together for joyful mark making and a shared creative experience. With colourful pens in hand and music playing, the children move, swirl, and dance their pens across the paper — building those all-important fine motor skills that support early writing. Guided by a clear visual tutorial, they follow each movement with focus and enthusiasm, transforming the session into a lively moment of learning and expression.

We started roughly, being 2-0 down to St. Andrews but we were determined to come back. With our hard work paying off and Mira’s 2 well earned goals and everyone’s solid passing we brought it back up to 2-2 but of course we weren’t the only ones determined to win and sadly they scored another 2 goals bringing it up to 4-2 and unfortunately, we lost, it was a hard team to play but we tried our best and everyone was still so positive! We wouldn’t have been able to play such an amazing game without Mr Pople encouraging us and talking us through it all, overall, everyone done so well, and we were all shining like stars! Everyone should be so proud, well done St. Johns!
